The Spins Entertainment has been fortunate enough to facilitate different categories of events and celebrations. Even though an event may be in a similar category, that doesn’t mean a client wants their event to be facilitated like it “normally” would. Considering the needs of each client, DJ SPINS asks the necessary questions to properly understand what role he needs to play for every type of event and is willing to do the research to successfully complete any client’s needs; Once a wedding client wanted their grand entrance in the style of announcing the starting lineup of the Chicago Bulls in the 1990’s.

Furthermore, DJ SPINS anticipates any possible event issues and naturally prepares solutions. Although The Spins Entertainment and their clients work for months, or event years, to orchestrate the main plan for an event, DJ SPINS always takes the extra time during walkthroughs or personal preparation to acknowledge the realities of the unexpected and offer additional options if necessary.

  • Rusty (AKA DJ Spins) was the life of the party for our wedding! He was not only a great DJ, he kept everything moving as the emcee. During downtimes, he went around the room interviewing people with a microphone, building great rapport with guests, doing shoutouts requested by the bride and groom, and so much more! He kept the vibe going all night and the dance floor was never empty after opening. He was a consummate professional while bringing high energy to the reception.

    During the ceremony, he ensured that everyone from the officiant, to the bride and groom, to the live musician could all be heard by the over 200 people in attendance in an outside venue.     DJ SPINS made our wedding a night we will truly never forget! His energy was incredible, and he did such an amazing job interacting with our guests. He’s not just a DJ, he’s an entertainer.     Absolutely amazing. In May 2024 my now husband and I got married on our 10 year anniversary. Rusty/Spins made all our musical & lights come true at our indoor venue.   • Rusty was our DJ for an all-day company event we held for about 300 employees. And while we hired him for music and uplighting, he delivered more than expected. Using vinyl records and an actual spin board, he brought a level of authenticity you just don’t see anymore. He handled all the equipment needed, even placing additional speakers in the lobby for additional ambience. His announcements were timely and engaging throughout the entire day, and his energy was truly next level.

    Rusty didn’t just play music…he created an experience. He brought the fun by dancing along, taking song requests, and keeping the crowd entertained during every break and transition. The vibe never dropped, and the room stayed energized from start to finish.

We had several hundred attendees, and truly every mom I spoke to mentioned how amazing the music and overall vibe was.   • Hired The Spins Entertainment for a high school snow coming dance. The kids had an absolute blast! He was funny and interactive. The music was on point. I love that he wanted a playlist before hand to know the kind of genres the kids were into and the songs they wanted him to play. He met with me a couple days before the dance to go over the venue and figure out set up. He was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend him.

  • The Spins does an AMAZING job. For the last few seasons he put together music for my youth cheerleaders. This is not something I know anything about but he made the entire process fun, listened to what I was looking for, and let me be a part of that process. The girls loved their music. He’s also been a huge asset to our Seymour school dances. The kiddos absolutely love having him. His work ethic is tops, he has an awesome personality, and overall does an absolutely awesome job.
